Dear beautiful you..
Easter blessings....
John o Donughue one of my favourite poets writes this about EasterOver Easter, let us look again at the lives we have been so generously given and let us let fall away the useless baggage that we carry -- old pains, old habits, old ways of seeing and feeling -- and let us have the courage to begin again. Life is very short, and we are no sooner here than it is time to depart again, and we should use to the full the time that we still have.We don't realize all the good we can do. A kind, encouraging word or helping hand can bring many a person through dark valleys in their lives.
Welcome, April. Does anybody else feel like it is the beginning of a beautiful New Year? Spring really is nature's New Year and I truly believe that we are not separate from nature, the spring brings hope and renewal, more energy - the smells of Spring soothes my soul so... How does Spring make you feel? There will be no classes over the Easter break - Friday - Monday included.Im currently away for Easter with Ines, my soul needed friendship and adventure...so we are in Brighton and London, visiting friends - taking in saunas, yoga, culture and arts. It feels good. What a time to be alive. With all that is going on in the world...
How alive are you?
Are you excited when you wake up in the morning?
Do you put your head down at night thinking and feeling like you gave this precious day your best?
Do you see where you didn’t do so well—and with grace and compassion—understand that here is where your work lies?Life goes by so quickly...and we are so busy ...but if we slow down we can notice the beauty all around.Since Spring Equinox when the weather is good, I awake early and make a fire on the beach to witness the sunrise. It's one of my favourite things in my life to do.
The world is waking up—buds unfurling, birdsong growing stronger, the sun lingering a little longer in the sky. Spring always feels like the true new year, a season of balance, renewal, and quiet transformation. We shake off the heaviness of winter and step into the light, a little braver, a little more open.
Last Saturday we gathered for such a beautiful workshop to welcome in spring. It truly felt so special — connecting with nature, learning the gentle art of fermentation, and softening into a deeply restorative practice together in the most beautiful studio in Buckfastleigh. There was a real sense of nourishment, not just for the body, but for the soul too.
As we move forward, I’m really looking forward to returning to our practice together. Outdoor yoga will begin again from the 6th of May, and I’ll be offering a special sunrise session on the 9th of May to welcome in the energies of Beltane — a magical time of fire, vitality, and celebration of life. Book online.
I am endlessly grateful for this path. For the chance to share yoga, to witness its quiet magic in your lives, to feel its medicine working through my own. This practice is breath, movement, stillness, and awakening all at once.
I am deeply grateful for your support and for the opportunity to share yoga with you over the years. This practice has been my passion, my refuge, and my greatest teacher, and being able to hold space for you—to guide, to witness, and to grow alongside you—means more to me than words can express. Your presence, your trust, and the way you show up, not just on the mat but in your lives, inspire me every day. Thank you for being part of this journey, for allowing me to do what I love, and for making this community so special. It is an honor to share this path with you.
We are already a quarter of the way through the year… a beautiful moment to pause, reflect, and realign with what truly matters.
May this month bring you softness, renewal, and a deep sense of coming home to yourself. Let us live like flowers—wild, beautiful, and drenched in sun....
