🌾 Lammas Blessings & Late Summer Light 🌾
Dear beloved one,
I’m writing to you with a heart full of gratitude, my soul still humming from the joy of summer festivals. I’ve just returned from Sundara Festival, where I had the honour of teaching yoga in the fields, surrounded by music, connection, and wild, expansive skies. And now, I find myself at The Green Gathering, offering movement and presence to the kitchen team and security — the beautiful backbone of the festival world.
This whole month, August, is alive with celebration and community. I’ll be weaving through a series of festivals, sharing massage, my sacred oils, and holding a little stall filled with feminine treasures — flowing dresses, kimonos, and pieces that help women feel radiant and seen. I’ll also be offering treatments in a spa space at one festival — a slower, quieter space of deep nourishment.
There’s something profoundly special about being on the land, living simply, connecting heart-to-heart. These spaces remind me how much I love what I do — and how healing it is to gather in community.
And now, as Lughnasadh (Lammas) arrives, we step into one of the most golden moments in the turning wheel — the first harvest. A time to pause and reflect. To honour what’s ripening in our lives. To give thanks for all we’ve nurtured — in our bodies, our hearts, and our souls.
Whether your harvest is bold and bright or soft and unseen, it’s worth honouring.
Let us give thanks
for all that has grown —
even the unseen, the slow, the sacred roots.
For the sunlight and the storms,
for the longing and the learning,
for the way we keep showing up —
with open palms and grateful hearts.
To mark this beautiful turning, I’m holding a special Cacao Ritual by the sea — and you are warmly invited.
Would you like to come to a Cacao Ritual at Sunset?
Have you ever been to one before?
Cacao is a sacred plant medicine — known as the “food of the gods” — used for centuries to open the heart and connect us with joy, intuition, and presence. It’s not just a delicious drink; it’s a doorway back to self, community, and rhythm.
On Monday 4th August, I’ll be holding a special Cacao Ritual to honour Lammas — a celebration of harvest, gratitude, and inner abundance.
Together we’ll:
Sip cacao in sacred ceremony
Welcome Lammas with intention and heart
Breathe gently, move mindfully, and dance freely
Receive a 40-minute sound bath with Jude Willis (Sound Healing Devon)
Watch the sunset, share in circle, and dip in the sea if you feel called
Please bring:
– A cup for your cacao
– Something natural for the altar
– A mat, cushion, and blanket
– Swimmers if you’d like to dip
– Warm layers for after sunset
Monday 4th August | 7:30–9:30pm | Oddicombe Beach
Spaces are limited - book online.
A little update on regular classes:
My Tuesday and Wednesday evening sessions are now on pause and will return in September. I would love to continue these but I am busy during August and Sept - I'll confirm dates when I'll be returning with these classes.
But our early morning Wednesday beach yoga continues right through to the end of September — a beautiful way to greet the day with breath, movement, and sea air. It's the most beautiful way to start the day.
Wishing you a blessed Lammas and a heart full of late summer light.
Lughnasadh reminds us:
Growth takes time.
You are allowed to celebrate your becoming.
The work you’re doing — even if unseen — is worthy of recognition.
This is your invitation to pause, reflect, and honor your journey.
With gratitude for all you are,
May you feel held, nourished, and in rhythm with the land, the season, and your own sacred unfolding.
Nina xxx
Breathe, love, laugh, be kind + be grateful
