Dear Beautiful Ones…
September is here, and oh my, what a summer it has been.
I’ve spent these past months travelling, teaching yoga at festivals, sharing holistic practices, and selling my beautiful creations. My favourite moments have been at the conscious gatherings — cooking together, sitting in circle, singing by the fire at night, the children being held in such love, and our mornings beginning in community. It feels like a glimpse into how life could be — slower, more connected, more alive.
And then, when I return home, life feels different. Strange. Overwhelming, even. Modern life pulls me back into responsibilities and rushing, and I notice how much I yearn for a simpler way — living closer to nature, in community, off-grid. While that’s not my reality right now, I remind myself to be gentle, to feel gratitude for my family, for my health, and for the privilege of sharing yoga — which I truly cannot imagine living without.
As September arrives, there is always a mix of sweetness and grief. Every cell of my body still longs for endless summer, the warmth of the sun on my skin, the joy of mornings outside. I come alive in the light. Yet nature shows me that the wheel must turn, and that beauty is found in each season when we surrender to it.
And I should say — I am writing this on the solar eclipse and full moon in Pisces. The energies today are high, powerful, and expansive. It’s a time when the universe invites reflection, release, and new beginnings. Notice how you feel — your emotions may be stirred, your intuition heightened, and your dreams more vivid. Allow yourself the gentle grace to rest, reflect, and receive whatever guidance or insight is here for you.
I’ve just finished teaching Park Yoga in the rain. We practiced a tai chi-inspired flow beneath the leaves of the trees, grounding down no matter the weather, without mats, letting the earth support us. Even in rain and dampness, yoga teaches us that the practice continues — with or without props, in all conditions. It’s a beautiful reminder that we can always come back to presence, to breath, to ourselves.
The weather has shifted abruptly — it feels like autumn has arrived overnight. Crispness in the air, the scent of leaves turning, the golden light lingering differently — all nudging us to slow down, to move more mindfully, and to honour the rhythm of nature. Let’s give ourselves permission to ride this wave gently, to welcome the season with open arms, and to allow the body and mind to adjust to the changing light.
At a course last week, I was asked the most beautiful question: What do we need to do to live a good life? It’s one I will carry close to my heart this autumn. For me, the answer is found in simple presence — in pausing, moving with awareness, sharing time with loved ones, and remembering to honour the turning of the wheel. Yoga is my anchor, helping me return to this truth again and again.
✨ A Special Sunrise Equinox Celebration ✨
On Wednesday 24th September, 6:45–8:15am at Meadfoot Beach, I’ll be holding our final sunrise yoga session of the year. Together, we’ll move through a beautiful practice to honour the Autumn Equinox — a time of balance between light and dark, day and night. It invites us to reflect on balance within our own lives: where we feel harmony, and where we are called to release and realign. Will finish at 8:15 so we have time to get to work in time. You can become my Website now for this beautiful offering.
We’ll close with quiet contemplation and then share a simple breakfast together before heading into our day. A soulful way to welcome the turning of the wheel. 🌿
From 23rd September, all classes return inside, though I will continue my early morning yoga at Meadfoot until 15th October (weather permitting). There is still magic in wrapping up warm, breathing the sea air, and watching the light change over the horizon.

And for those craving one-to-one care, I’m offering beautiful autumnal treatments with Ayurvedic oils, warming blankets, and chakra sound baths — a ritual of deep self-care as the days grow colder.
As we step into autumn together, may we soften, slow down, and allow this season to guide us into balance. May we continue to ask ourselves how we might live a good life — and then gently practise it in the small, everyday ways.
Thank you, truly, for being part of my world and for practising yoga with me. I appreciate each and every one of you. I wish you the most beautiful autumn — let’s welcome it with open arms.
🌿 A Blessing for Autumn 🌿
May you walk gently into this new season,
with gratitude in your heart,
clarity in your mind,
and warmth in your soul.
May you release what no longer serves you,
and receive all the gifts that are waiting to arrive.
May balance, peace, and joy find you,
wherever you are,
and however the seasons turn.
And remember, I’m always here for you — if ever you need anything, just reach out.
With love always,
Nina xx
Breathe, love, laugh, be kind + be grateful
